Acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist Gordon Izumi is thrilled to announce the premiere of the official music video for his latest single, “Line of Fire,” now live on YouTube and the audio available on major music streaming platforms..
“‘Line of Fire’ is my most cinematic work to date,” says Izumi. “It’s a story of love, danger, and redemption set against the neon-lit streets of Tokyo—every riff, every lyric is fueled by that adrenaline rush.”
Shot in immersive 35mm film style, the video merges gritty action with intimate performance—proof of Izumi’s skill as both a storyteller and musician.
The release of “Line of Fire” follows the recent re-issue of his uplifting anthem, “Never Give Up,” and underscores a prolific season for Izumi: he continues to captivate audiences worldwide as the frontman for Junkyard Flamingoes and One Reason.

Hailing from the greater Toronto area, ONE REASON is a hardworking, straight-up rock ‘n’ roll band dedicated to reviving the vibrant energy of classic roots rock through modern performance. Founded in 2016 by frontman Gordon Izumi and bassist David Chan, the band later welcomed premier Canadian guitarist Michael Morelli and powerhouse drummer Chad Specker.
Izumi says, “We’re four guys who love to rock. We play and record music inspired by the sounds we grew up with in the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s—because there’s nothing like that around us anymore.”
