On Saturday, September 26, 2026, step inside the Xinflix Auditorium for the official premiere of Gordon Izumi's highly anticipated new LP, Facial Origami Unfolded.
This isn't just an album launch—it’s a massive, 5-hour interactive Art Party that explores the masks we wear, the secrets we keep, and what happens when we finally unfold them. We are transforming the venue into two distinct but interconnected spaces where visual art, technology, and music seamlessly merge.

The Community Crane Canopy: Fold a paper crane and hang it up. By the end of the night, we’ll have built a massive, collaborative hanging sculpture representing community solidarity.

The Gordon Izumi Concert Experience (7:15 PM): Gordon Izumi takes the stage with an explosive, 10-member live band. Spanning two massive sets, they will play 18 raw, original rock 'n' roll tracks from the new LP and a few Bomus Tracks. Expect heavy riffs, soulful melodies, and a massive wall of sound. Members of the Richmond Hill Philharmonic Orchestra perform as a string quartet for several songs in the second set.

REASON
Hailing from the greater Toronto area, ONE REASON is a hardworking, straight-up rock ‘n’ roll band dedicated to reviving the vibrant energy of classic roots rock through modern performance. Founded in 2016 by frontman Gordon Izumi and bassist David Chan, the band later welcomed premier Canadian guitarist Michael Morelli and powerhouse drummer Chad Specker.
Izumi says, “We’re four guys who love to rock. We play and record music inspired by the sounds we grew up with in the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s—because there’s nothing like that around us anymore.”
With their infectious stage presence and expert musicianship, ONE REASON transports audiences back to an era when music was raw, energetic, and authentic. With every performance, they strive to forge a deep connection with listeners, reigniting their passion for the timeless sound of roots rock.
Original tracks like “Way Back Home” and “Working Man” are urgent, dynamic, and rhythmically driven—naturally evolving from their nostalgic love for classic rock covers.
Gordie & the Get-Go's
Gordie & the Get-Go's are a no-nonsense, full-throttle blast to your rock senses. Based out of Oshawa, Ontario, this band is all about pure, unfiltered rock—just vocals, drums, bass, two electric guitars, and keyboards. No pretensions, no backing tracks, no slick productions—just straight-up roots rock.
With Gordie & the Get-Go’s, Band members Jon Ison (drums), Hardy Braun (bass), Glabber Barros (lead guitar), Karen Adyt, (lead vocals and background) and Gordon Izumi (lead vocals, rhythm guitar) bring a workmanlike approach that delivers raw emotion, humor, and killer chops that make your head nod. Battle-hardened and spit-polished through years of vans, garages, countless soundchecks, and, yes, headlining shows, Gordie & the Get-Go’s believe rock music is about lifting people up—and they prove that there’s no greater truth than rock and roll.
