On Saturday, September 26, 2026, step inside the Xinflix Auditorium for the official premiere of Gordon Izumi's highly anticipated new LP, Facial Origami.
This isn't just an album launch—it’s a massive, 5-hour interactive art party that explores the masks we wear, the secrets we keep, and what happens when we finally unfold them. We are transforming the venue into two distinct but interconnected spaces where visual art , technology, and music seamlessly merge.
🌸 Room 1: The Interactive Art Lounge
Doors open at 5:00 PM | Explore all night
The Geometric Projection Wall: Step up to our high-tech scanner and watch your face instantly transform into a sharp, stylized origami projection. These custom designs will become part of the grand visual backdrop on the main stage during the concert!
Curated Gallery Show: Wander through a premier exhibition curated by Suzanne Caldarone Izumi, showcasing her latest stunning works alongside 5 to 10 of the GTA's most exciting local artists and jewelry makers.
The Community Crane Canopy: Fold a paper crane and hang it up. By the end of the night, we’ll have built a massive, collaborative hanging sculpture representing community solidarity.
🎸 Room 2: The Main Stage Concert
The music kicks off at 7:00 PM
Traditional & Contemporary Chinese Dancers (7:00 PM): Fengcai Art Association offers a powerful, visually arresting opening performance setting a dramatic tone for the night.
The Gordon Izumi Concert Experience (7:15 PM): Gordon Izumi takes the stage with an explosive, 10-member live band. Spanning two massive sets, they will play 18 raw, original rock 'n' roll tracks from the new LP. Expect heavy riffs, soulful melodies, and a massive wall of sound. Members of the Richmond Hill Philharmonic Orchestra perform as a string quartet for several songs in the second set.
